- To teach life skills through sport and leisure so that our participants strive to increase their level of independence
- To earn the respect of the community as a whole so that all people with disabilities are seen in a positive light and not as a burden on society
- To grow our organization thoughtfully and carefully so that we can sustain a level of caring, quality service for countless years to come
Our Core Values:
We strive provide our services with integrity both within the organization and with those we serve. Champions Made from Adversity teaches teamwork which incorporates respect, humor, effective communication and a sense of belonging to something greater than oneself. We demand a firm commitment from our board, staff, volunteers, and from those we serve. The people that take part in our programs deserve that commitment. We believe that the commitment to Champions Made from Adversity from our participants gives them a sense of stewardship for the organization and that they will seek to sustain it.
